The Kerklaan pumping station (South-Holland) was recently equipped with a fish-friendly Vision-MV pump.<\/p>\n

This new pump type is specifically designed for smaller pumping stations and ensures that fish can pass through the pumping station without a scratch. By using a single-blade centrifugal fan in a large housing, fish safety is guaranteed.<\/p>\n

Bosman Watermanagement installed this pump upon request of Facta Spijkenisse B.V.<\/p>\n

For the Hollandse Delta water board, this was the first pumping station to which this new fish-friendly pump type was applied.<\/p>\n

After our new pump was installed, the capacity of the pumping station was doubled.
