In addition, the pump requires only a shallow sub-mergence depth.<\/p>\n<p>Three impeller configurations for each size of pump guarantee optimum performance without harmful cavitation or vibration zones.<\/p>\n<p>The most suitable type of pump for specific application is determined using CAS (Computer Aided Selection). When selecting a pump type\u00a0the specified duty point (flow\/delivery head) needs to be realised. The minimum and maximum static delivery heads, the location of the optimum efficiency point, the NPSH etc. are additional factors that need to be taken into account when selecting a pump.<\/p>\n<p>Once a selection has been made, the CAS system will present the calculated pump curve and the desirable guarantee point.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"fw-divider-space  fw-custom-space  clearfix\" style=\"height:40px;\" ><\/div><div class=\"fw-heading fw-heading-left  tf-sh-72cb8fc6ba4c4ecc39250e546833f13e\" >\n\t\t\t<h5 class=\"fw-special-title\">Applications<\/h5>\n\t\n\t\n\t<\/div><div class=\"fw-text-box tf-sh-830c538311fb6b1d1eaa035a5aa257c5 \" >\n\t<div class=\"fw-text-inner\">\n\t\t<p>Bosman Watermanagement supplied the BVOP pump, for example, the Pilmuir pumping station, which aims to manage the floods in the Pilmuir area.
